Description
San Fernando Valley State College is now California State University, Northridge.
Photograph caption dated July 29, 1960 reads, "Shotputter Dave Davis of Canoga Park finds it a bit difficult to concentrate on his books in class at San Fernando State College. Instead, Dave consults crystal ball in attempt to ascertain outcome of 1960 Olympic shotput. Davis is now in training at Eugene, Ore., for the Rome games along with rest of Olympic team." Davis is a student at San Fernando Valley State College in Northridge.
