Photograph caption reads: "Dep. Sheriff Thomas Corbett confers with John Abs, 46, of North Hollywood, before Abs' bedside arraignment in Sherman Oaks Hospital on five counts of manslaughter. Abs was injured in traffic accident near Newhall in which five persons were killed." Photograph dated April 28, 1959.
