Photograph caption dated October 15, 1955 reads, "Morris Shaner, senior vice commander of VFW Post 1267, Universal-North Hollywood, and Mrs. Pearl Carmody, president of post auxiliary, look over portion of 35 boxes of clothing collected by auxiliary members for Shone Indians in Arizona, Idaho and Nevada."
