Photograph caption dated December 4, 1985 reads, "A rare sight in Los Angeles: a clear shot from downtown to Mt. Baldy." This view of the downtown, East Los Angeles, and the San Gabriel Mountains was taken from the 30th floor of the Transamerica Building, located at 1150 S. Broadway. Various downtown buildings fill the foreground, while Los Angeles County-U.S.C. Medical Center and a snow-capped Mt. Baldy are visible in the background.
