Description
Photograph caption dated October 3, 1963 reads, "San Fernando High's brilliant fullback Curtis Fontenot will be turned loose again Friday afternoon against Sylmar in one of three East Valley grid openers tomorrow. Fontenot is being tackled by unidentified tackler in Monday's game against Verdugo Hills after 11-yard gain. Fontenot rolled up 122 yards in 19 carries."
