Description
Stuart Crainer article, based on the thought of Charles Handy, explaining the need for organizations to value their employee relationships through the doughnut principle. Crainer uses principles in Handy's book, The Empty Raincoat, to illustrate how managers should begin putting faith in their people. Crainer understands that Handy does not expect companies to become charitable organizations but for expectations and working practices to fundamentally alter. From this perspective, the doughnut principle alongside the idea of the federal organization applies and is ideal for future corporate practices.
