Description
Photograph of a man "hypnotizing" an alligator at an alligator farm (possibly the California Alligator Farm, Los Angeles), ca.1900. A man in what appears to be casual dress and a brimmed hat bends on one knee and extends his left arm above the body of an overturned alligator. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows. Other alligators are visible on the bank in the background. Foliage from a tree hangs in from above.
