Photograph article dated November 2, 1960 partially reads, "Kith and kin of both Presidential candidates have been hard at work in the Valley and the rest of California in these closing days of the campaign, directing last-minute activities that could swing the state on Tuesday. Leading the Kennedy kin is 28-year-old Edward 'Ted,' the senator's youngest brother and his West Coast campaign director. Chief among the Nixon kith is Stanley McCaffrey, a boyhood friend of the vice president from Whittier, who left an important job in education to join his campaign staff. Both men are claiming California's 32 electoral votes." Note: Pictured is Stanley MCaffrey.
