Photograph of Ray Horne's Blue Rhythm band during a fraternity ball hosted by the Kappas ca. 1933 This picture was taken the sunday morning, after the ball. This affair where the picture was taken in the ballroom at Richarson Springs. It was a fraternity ball--the frat was called the Kappas, and was not a college fraternity but a Chico town fraternity--the Kappas were very proud of this bandstand. The background of cellphone was colored and had spots (lights) flashing onto it. (Sunrise).
