Photograph caption dated June 20, 1963 reads, "Two Valley women are among the new 1963-64 provisional group of the Junior League of Los Angeles. They are Mrs. Jack R. Carpenter, Van Nuys, and Mrs. Joseph W. Brandon, Studio City. They will participate in and learn about Junior League work this year before they become active members."
