Description
Shown in circa 1930 is the Administration Building and entrance to Sacramento Junior College, located at 3835 Freeport Boulevard. The campus, after a brief stint at the old Sacramento High School building at Eighteenth and L streets, opened in 1926 on a plot of land taking up 60.42 acres, bracketed by Freeport Boulevard to the west, the Western Pacific railyards to the east, and Sutterville Road to the south.
