Photograph caption dated December 24, 1964 reads, "Not worrying a bit about his engagement in Saturday's $20,000-added Palos Verdes Handicap, Dee Dee Stable's Sledge nudges Maxine Factor, the daughter of Max Factor (a co-owner of the horse). Sledge has been assigned 125 pounds for the six furlong sprint on Santa Anita's opening-day program."
