Description: "Rast ved veien" ("Resting along the road"). This is possibly a group of missionaries and carriers travelling with luggage to a conference in Antsirabe in 1900. Sitting in the middle wearing a tropical helmet:Thomas Joergensen, a missionary in Madagascar from1897-1947. He was married to Aagot Kjeldseth 1870-1957, a missionary in Madagascar from 1896-1907. They were married in Tananarive on December 28, 1898. Standing in a black coat:Lars Meling, a missionary in Madagascar from 1888-1928.
