Bust-length portrait. "Eric Lester Cole, 3912 4th Ave., Sacramento" -- handwritten on verso.
2012-1758.
Born and raised in Sacramento. Graduate of Oak Park Grammar School in 1909. Spent some two years in the theater before becoming a postal clerk with the Sacramento Post Office. Was drafted in 1918, assigned to Camp Kerney, served in the Army Field Artillery, Camp Kerney. Married Margaret Houghton in 1917.
