Description
These tar-preserved remains of elephants, mastodons, ground sloths and great bears, taken from the Pleistocene deposits of Rancho La Brea, are filed, studied and restored by specially trained personnel at the Los Angeles Museum in Exposition Park. Photo dated: August 9, 1937.
