Description
The Owens River in Long Valley near the point it enters the gorge on June 25, 1930. The land shown here would be flooded if the proposed Long Valley Reservoir is created by the dam in Owens River Gorge. The lake would be the largest artificial body of water, except Boulder Dam Reservoir, ever proposed.
