Photograph caption dated November 6, 1957 reads "To be called an Idiot in square dancing is not insult, it means you belong to an exclusive club, 'The Idiots,' whose headquarters are at 730 N. 21st Ave., Portland, Ore. Performing requirements of club's initiation, which are to pay surprise visit to caller after midnight from left, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Barker, left, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McLagan. Both couples, from Northridge, and are shown dancing in Reseda home of caller Dick Wilson in background."
