Description
Photograph of a mansion lawn in Sacramento, ca.1900. A man in a lightly-colored shirt, hat, and dark pants stands next to a tall palm tree in the wide yard of a mansion. The palm tree is one of a variety of trees which decorate the manicured yard. Directly behind the man lies a path which leads from an opening in the lawn's fence on the left to the right foreground. Several other large homes surrounded by short, thick trees can be seen across the street in the background.
