Description: The Griffith Observatory and the main building, the planetarium, are seen from the southwest below and on theside. The hillside is heavil filled with brush and trees. Only 2 domes are visible on the building-- the main planetarium and one of the telescopes. The building was complete in 1935. Architects: John C. Austin and Frederick M. Ashley.
