This was taken at 509 N. Crescent Drive in Beverly Hills. The cut-off caption mentions her appearance at a trial involving her earnings and a sum of $236,000, being sought by her mother and sister from a brokerage house and convicted investment broker, Leslie B. Henry.
Photograph caption dated May 22, 1936 reads, "Mary Miles Minter, who reigned as the curly-haired blonde queen of the silent screen, is shown resting at her home for [illegible] appearance ... Time has dealt gently with Miss Minter, whose earnings are involved in the suit. She still has the shimmering blonde beauty, the charm and the lithe that placed her at the peak of filmdom."
