Description
Caption reads: "Engineers rigged a huge crane aboard a barge to support the three-lane west-bound span on the Bryte Bend Bridge being built across the Sacramento River from Sacramento to Bryte after a steel I-beam, 2 1/2 feet wide and 2 1/2 inches thick cracked Saturday, forcing the closure of California 16, which runs under the span.
