"Missionar Schanz's Kinder in der Hängematte" (Missionary Schanz's children in the hammock"). Two children, a boy and a baby in a hammock that is attached to a pole. The pole with the hammock is carried by two African men dressed in cloths. Johannes Schanz (1876-1963) was a priest. He worked for the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Memba from 1901-1910.
