Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated October 31, 1961 reads, "Jim Contino, chairman of Van Nuys Kiwanis Club; Tommy Thompson, chairman of the Reseda Club, and Bob Gibson, chairman of Division 25, discuss plans for the sale of 11,000 fruitcakes. The 'goodies' will be sold to employers to give employes [sic] for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Half of the proceeds will go to Valley hospitals and the remainder to children's charities. Fruitcakes may be purchased through local Kiwanis clubs."
