Photograph of the San Jose Spartan Stadium was taken shortly after it was built in 1933. It originally seated 4,000 spectators, but has been greatly expanded over the years to seat over 30,000. The Spartan Stadium was the home of the San Jose Earthquakes (originally San Jose Clash) of Major League Soccer from the league's inception in 1996 through the 2005 season. Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 8-bit Grayscale. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPG format using Photoshop CS3.
