Description
Photograph of a male skier falling down, ca.1930. Skidding on his skis in the snow, the man falls facing the right, with his ski poles in the air behind him. He dons a ski cap and goggles, a light-colored shirt and dark pants. His mouth drops open slightly as he falls. Behind him is a road, followed by a snow-covered embankment that fades out into a dark tree-clustered thicket. In the foreground, the slush lies around in clumps.
