Evergreen, Burbank, wishes that more motorists would follow the National Safety Council's Courtesy of the Road suggestion. An example of safe, courteous driving is Roger Gruber, 10232 Irma Ave., Tujunga. A tank driver of the 634th Tank Destroyers, First Infantry Division, Roger experienced two tanks being shot out from under him in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. The father of three children, Roger has just completed more than 100,000 miles of accident-free driving while working for the Valley firm of Sleep E-Z Mattress Co."
