Photograph caption dated February 29, 1988 reads, "Firefighters cut apart top of car to rescue three accident victims trapped in a vehicle, which rolled over several times on the Hollywood Freeway near Alameda Street in downtown. The weekend downpour slickened L.A. roadways where three people were killed and several other motorists were injured. More slippery road conditions are expected today with morning thunderstorms that should taper off by the afternoon."
