Letter signed. HM 5304 in hand of Tench Tilghman ; HM 5305 in hand of Richard Kidder Meade, copy of first letter. Postscript on duplicate in hand of Tilghman: "The above is a Copy of a letter sent you yesterday, but that may have miscarried." Place name on second document given only as "headquarters."
