Description
Los Angeles firefighters stand by as a tractor trailer is hoisted up steep ravine in the Santa Monica Mountains after it tumbled down a 100-foot slope, injuring the driver. David Arreola, 42, of Alhambra told authorities he was searching for an address on a curve of Mulholland Drive near Deep Canyon Drive when he 'suddenly' was heading down the hillside in the Santa Monica Mountains. Arreola sustained broken ribs and was listed in good condition last night at the UCLA Medical Center. The community of Sherman Oaks is seen down below. Photograph dated July 7, 1987.
