Video recording of day 4, tape 2, of Strategic Management 301, a four-day course about the fundamental concepts of service sector management, taught by Jack Shaw. Shaw continues his lecture on change management, asserting that having vision and goals is the biggest lever for change. He goes on to discuss quality, and the characteristics of top performers. According to Shaw, the day-to-day interactions between colleagues should be fun and exciting, because the personality of the organization will translate to the customer. He also draws a distinction between leadership and management: leadership is about setting the future, while management involves taking care of daily pieces.
