Description: Descendants of the Jayhawker pioneers who first crossed Death Valley: E. W. Mecum, Henry Doty, and Frank Doty. They held a reunion on February 4, 1931, the 81st anniversary of the pioneers' arrival at the Del Valle ranch house after their tragic ordeal.
