Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on May 16, 1983 states "Civic leaders and airport officials unveiled a banner Sunday welcoming the first AirCal flight to Tahoe airport since 1979. The airline pulled out of Tahoe that year because of stiff noise restrictions. Sunday's landing was so quiet that several spectators were unaware the plan had arrived."
