Description
Taken between 1928 and 1940, this photograph shows the eastern side of the rotunda of the California State Capitol. The interior of the rotunda is comprised of 15 levels of steel and wooden planking, weighing a combined 17 tons. The building itself was constructed between 1861 and 1874.
