Photograph was edited for publication purposes A young boy waits for a break in the traffic on White Oak Avenue before crossing. Photograph article dated February 16, 1963 partially reads, "Residents along Whiteoak [sic] Ave. between Victory and Burbank Blvds. are beginning to have that trapped feeling. They claim that during the morning and evening rush traffic hours, at least, they're completely bottled up by fast-moving traffic which speeds unimpeded by stop signs between Victory and Burbank...the situation has steadily worsened since completion of the Ventura Freeway."
