The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on October 17, 1973 states: "Bill L. Williams inspects 42-inch diameter sewer pipe, the plant's largest." The pipes were manufactured at the Gladding McBean plant in Lincoln, then owned by Interpace Co.
