Description
Kashnor notes, "An interesting map which does not give any of the Hudson's Bay Company forts, but locates the French fort below Nelson River, the post of St. Duluth built to intercept the Assinopels on their journey to the Bay, and the fort of St. Germain on the Albany River built for the same purpose. The Bay was then in French possession after Iberville's victories." McCorkle identifies cartographer as Nicholas Sanson and give appeared in information, notes seperate publication with date ca. 1695? Note inset map of Boston Harbor. Submap: Boston Harbor..
