"The customary shovelful of earth was turned this mornng at groundbreaking ceremonies for the western region offices of the National Audubon Society. From left are Charles H Callison of New York, executive vice president of the society; Mrs. E. S. Gillette, national director from San Francisco, and Paul M. Howard, assistant western representative, who will become western representative in July. He is from El Monte, Los Angeles County"
