Annotation translation: "Chinese woman student batallions on the far east front. The urgent need for replacements in view of the losses suffered by the chinese army has led to mobilisation in the universities and the creation of woman student batallions. Here one sees a young chinese woman who has exchanged her lab coat for an army overcoat and her textbook for a rapid-fire pistol. Der dringend nötige Entsatz der verlustreichen chinesischen Armee hat auch im Zuge der Mobilisierung der Hochschulen zur Aufstellung eines Studentinnen-Bataillons geführt.
