Description
Photograph caption dated October 1, 1949 reads, "J. J. Marquez of 6952 Ethel Ave., North Hollywood, puzzles over this question as he watches captured ram and white-faced heifer respond to mess call. Animals were rounded up by volunteer 'cowboy posse' when 'herd' threatened to destroy neighbor's carrot patch. Owner of menagerie may claim same at Marquez' home and solve his problem."
