Description
Fancy footing to canned jive, soldiers, sailors and their girls are shown jitterbugging at a U.S.O. dance, which was held November 11, 1941, at Wilshire Blvd. and Grand Ave. Note the sailor and his girl in "breakaway." Girls outnumbered boys, so "cut-ins" soon started, with the girls doing the cutting in. The dance climaxed the Armistice Day celebration.
