Portrait of Col. William Thompson of the Oregon Militia Indian War with three ladies (left to right), Daisy Tierney, Florence Beardsley, and Myrtle Gesford. Thompson was born in 1846 and died in 1934. He was also the the editor of the Alturas Plaindealer.
