Description: Manufactured by Eitel-McCullough (Model WDL-AM-92), this large 20kW klystron is mounted on a 4-wheel dolly. This was manufactured by Eimac for Philco's (later Ford Aerospace & Communications Corporation) Western Development Laboratory, to be used as an S-band satellite up-link amplifier for satellite transmissions. It has a repair tag on it from Eimac, so was probably sent back to Eimac for repair and possibly not put into service again.
