Photograph article dated September 5, 1963 partially reads, "A 25-year-old Santa Susana man, who apparently drove into a Ventura Blvd. service station seeking aid for a gunshot wound, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary. Edward Reyes, 4142 Helene Ave., was arrested Wednesday after he drove into the North Hollywood service station at Ventura and Lankershim Blvds. and asked for an ambulance. He was taken to Valley Doctors Hospital with a .30-caliber bullet wound in his left thigh and then transferred to the prison ward of Los Angeles County General Hospital, police said."
