Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph article dated February 25, 1963 partially reads, "Giveaway is the name of the game of baseball as coach Stan Charnofsky seeks to check the generosity of his Valley State College Matadors, started Saturday when they blew an 8-5 decision to California Poly of Pomona on the Matador diamond. What concerns Charnofsky as he looks ahead to the White Sox Rookies Tuesday and Pepperdine College Friday, both home games, is the way Matador pitching collapsed against Cal Poly." Photograph caption reads, "Valley State's Ed Clausen takes second base - Cal Poly's Don Terranove awaits errant baseball."
