Description
Military and Fire Department personnel pick through wreckage of military plane in open field near oil wells and storage tanks. Crowd forms large circle around site. Pilot Lt. Robert Hartung had flown 35 missions over Germany during World War II, but was killed in routine training flight. He managed to guide plane to only open spot in area near residential, oil, and hospital areas.
