The MacArthur Memorial Bible Church was later renamed the Calvary Bible Church located at 1101 S. Main Street, Burbank.
Photograph caption dated April 25, 1964 reads, "Muriel Hersom leads a class of the deaf in a song at MacArthur Memorial Bible Church, Burbank. Although no words or melodies are voiced, the deaf persons experience the meaning of the music through the rhythm and expressiveness of the signs used instead of words. She also conducts worship services and interprets the church's weekly TV broadcast."; See images #00117702 through #00117705 for all photos in this series.
