Description: Image of an eye-level view of the Worcester House by Lysander C. Clark in Worcester, Massachusetts; horse-drawn vehicles and pedestrians outside house and along Main Street (corner of Maple).
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history; Moore printed from 1835 until 1841. Date is likely 1837 based on advertisements found in the Boston Post from June 20, 1837 that read, "The subscriber has taken the Worcester House, situated on Main street, directly opposite to the Depot of the Boston and Worcester Railroad...June 7, 1837, Lysander C. Clark" "F.H. Lane, del."--text, bottom left margin. "Moore's Lithography, Boston, successor to Pendleton."--text, bottom right margin.
