Description
Photograph shows twelve girls in Girl Reserves uniforms. They are outside perhaps in a building courtyard. The girls in the front row are seated in wicker furniture and the second row is standing. On verso: "Tucker's Photo 245 on The Alameda San Jose, - Calif". Pinholes in each corner bottom left corner has two. Middle bottom has one pinhole. Top left corner is missing right at the pinhole. In 1918 the YWCA of the USA organized the Girl Reserves to bring 12 to 18-year-olds into the national movement, with sailor-style uniforms and three-fingered salutes.
