Photograph caption dated October 2, 1964 reads, "Crowd pleaser - GOP vice-presidential candidate Congressman William E. Miller (R-N.Y.) moves through the crowd shaking hands after landing at Lockheed Air Terminal in Burbank. Miller addressed a $50-per-plate dinner of the Republican Buck and Ballot Brigade at Pike's Verdugo Oaks Restaurant in Glendale then left for Texas."
