Description
Ted Williams, Boston's "splendid splinter," hit a long home run over the right field wall at Gilmore Field, as the Red Sox beat the Hollywood Stars, 3-0. Williams drove in the first run in the first inning with a sacrifice fly and fanned in his third appearance. Photo dated: March 26, 1957.
